About the OpportunityAn exciting contract opportunity is available for an experienced Manager, Payroll Services to support the stabilization of a newly implemented Oracle Fusion payroll environment within a large healthcare organization. This role is ideal for an accomplished payroll leader who can quickly assess challenges, provide operational leadership, and ensure accurate payroll delivery during a critical post-implementation period.
You’ll partner with Payroll, HR, Finance, and IT leaders while leading a team responsible for delivering payroll services to a large, complex workforce. Your expertise will help strengthen payroll operations, improve processes, and support the organization’s continued Oracle Fusion optimization.

- You’ll lead the day-to-day delivery of Canadian payroll for a complex workforce of full‑time, part‑time, salaried, hourly, unionized, and non‑union employees.
- You’ll resolve complex Oracle Fusion payroll issues and collaborate with technical and functional stakeholders during stabilization activities.
- You’ll mentor and support the Payroll team while helping strengthen payroll operations and service delivery.
- You’ll oversee payroll processing, statutory deductions, T4s, year‑end activities, off‑cycle payrolls, and payroll compliance.
- You’ll recommend process improvements that improve efficiency, accuracy, and long‑term payroll sustainability.
- 7+ years of payroll leadership experience, including management of payroll teams.
- PCP designation is required. PLP/CPM designation is a strong asset.
- Strong experience with unionized payroll within a healthcare organization.
- Oracle Fusion Payroll experience is required, with Oracle Fusion implementation or post‑go‑live stabilization experience considered a significant asset.
- Extensive knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation, statutory deductions, T4 processing, year‑end activities, and payroll compliance.
- A collaborative, resourceful, and highly communicative leadership style with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
