Contract Senior Accountant

Drive financial leadership as a Senior Accountant in the Greater Toronto Area on a 3-month contract. Lead accounting and financial reporting for a thriving industrial services organization.

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to spearhead their accounting function during rapid growth. Reporting to the CFO, this hybrid role demands strong accounting skills and leadership for one of their significant operating entities. Candidates should bring a deep understanding of financial consolidation and intercompany accounting within a private environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and consolidation

• Manage intercompany accounting and reporting integrity

• Lead the external audit process and liaise with auditors

• Drive improvements in processes and systems, including SAGE 300

• Collaborate with leadership on financial analysis projects

Requirements:

• CPA designation is required

• 8–12+ years in progressive accounting roles

• Proficient in multi-entity and corporate accounting

• Experience with SAGE 300 or similar ERP systems

• Hands-on approach in technical and executional tasks
