What You’ll Be Responsible

• For Own and manage the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial report
• ing.
  
  Manage full-cycle accounting activities including general ledger, journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations and financial statement preparat
• ion.
  
  Maintain established month-end processes and controls within Net Su
• ite.
  
  Support the annual financial statement audit, including preparation of schedules and responding to auditor reque
• sts.
  
  Oversee and review Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable activit
• ies.
  
  Provide oversight and review of payroll accounting entr
• ies.
  
  Support inventory accounting and reconciliations within a CPG environm
• ent.
  
  Support accounting matters associated with a Canadian parent company and U.S. subsidiary, including cross-border and multi-currency considerati
• ons.
  
  Assist with accounting related to debt, financing arrangements and a more complex capital struct
• ure.
  
  Support lender-related requirements and reporting as nee
• ded.
  
  Maintain appropriate internal controls, accounting policies and audit readin
• ess.
  
  Respond to ad hoc accounting requests and partner closely with the Head of Finance & Operati

  Previous CPG, food & beverage, manufacturing or inventory-based business experience is highly desir
• able.
  
  Experience with inventory accounting and related reconciliat
• ions.
  
  Experience supporting an annual financial statement a

  Exposure to Canadian/U.S. entities, cross-border accounting and multi-currency operations is an a
• sset.
  
  Experience with debt accounting, financing transactions or complex capital structures is an a
• sset.
  
  Comfortable working within a small, lean and entrepreneurial organization with limited accounting redund
• ancy.
