Senior Accounting Professional

Position: Jack.org Senior Accounting Professional
Advance youth mental health finances with Jack.org as a Senior Accountant located in Toronto. This hybrid full-time opportunity focuses on essential financial reporting, forecasting, and collaboration with various departments.

In this role, you will maintain the integrity of Jack.org's finances while reporting to the Director of Finance. Your responsibilities include accurate financial reporting, compliance reviews, and aiding cross-departmental understanding of financial data. You will utilize your skills to enhance financial processes and ensure effective grant and operational support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate monthly and quarterly financial reports and analyses

• Maintain and enhance financial models for accuracy

• Conduct bank and balance sheet reconciliations monthly

• Support audits and ensure compliance with standards

• Train non-financial staff on accounting procedures and practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• CPA designation preferred

• 3-5 years of accounting experience

• Proficient in financial reporting and analysis

• Strong collaborative skills in a multi-departmental environment
