Senior Accountant - Financial Growth Specialist

Become a Senior Accountant at a prominent alternative mortgage platform in Toronto. This role focuses on leading financial systems and reporting in a full-time, in-office environment.
As the company expands, you will spearhead full cycle accounting across multiple related entities. Lead month-end closure processes, mentor finance staff, and ensure adherence to IFRS regulations. Your insights will enhance financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting analyses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full cycle accounting for diverse entities

• Ensure accurate month-end close and reporting

• Supervise AR and AP finance team for strong oversight

• Prepare regulatory reports compliant with standards

• Facilitate financial analysis and KPI reporting
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or related discipline

• CPA or ACCA designation is preferred

• Around 5+ years in high-volume accounting sectors

• Expertise in IFRS regulations and reporting

• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software
