Accountant Role in Real Estate Finance

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage accounts receivable, tenant billing, and collections

• Prepare monthly journal entries and complete reconciliations

• Participate in the month-end close and balance sheet processes

• Prepare project reporting and assist with internal audits

• Ensure accurate HST filings and maintain audit readiness
Requirements:

• Background in property accounting or project finance

• Full-cycle accounting experience with month-end processes

• Must have proficiency in Yardi software

• Intermediate skills in Excel, primarily formulas and pivots

• Proven attention to detail in accounting tasks
