Our client, a large, global, multi-currency organization, is looking for a Senior Accountant, Statutory Reporting to join their large and growing team.
Join a high-performing global finance team where you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting across a complex international business. Reporting to the Director of Statutory Reporting, you'll take ownership of group consolidation activities, work across multiple entities and currencies, and help strengthen the processes that support continued growth.
This is a hybrid role, with two days per week in our downtown Toronto office.
Responsibilities:- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation process across multiple international entities.
- Prepare, review, and post IFRS-compliant month-end journals, maintaining clear and comprehensive supporting documentation.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to support quarterly reviews, external audits, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Oversee inter-company reconciliation and settlement processes, ensuring balances are accurate and resolved efficiently.
- Maintain a strong internal controls environment while identifying opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve financial processes.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the global finance function to resolve complex accounting matters and deliver high-quality reporting within deadlines.
- CPA designation or equivalent professional accounting qualification, supported by a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally gained within a large or publicly listed organization.
- Hands-on experience with group consolidations in a multinational, multi-currency environment.
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS; exposure to US GAAP would be an advantage.
- Experience with enterprise accounting systems;
Oracle experience is preferred. - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with complex financial data.

Total Compensation:- The total compensation range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 per year.
