Financial Accountant for Metro Properties

You will be responsible for the entire accounting cycle, ensuring thorough preparation of monthly financial statements and bank reconciliations. Collaborating with various departments to develop budget packages and adhere to strict accounting policies is essential for this role. Your detail-oriented approach will support effective financial record-keeping throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle full accounting responsibilities for residential property portfolios

• Prepare monthly financial reports and perform variance analyses

• Conduct reconciliations of banks and control accounts accurately

• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies

• Assist in coordinating the annual budgeting process with department teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; experience in Property Management preferred

• 2-3 years in accounting or finance roles

• Active CPA pursuit or designation preferred

• Strong Excel skills;
Yardi Voyageur experience a plus

• Self-directed with effective time management abilities
