The Royal Conservatory Intermediate Accountant Role

Reporting to the Manager, Systems and Financial Operations, this role encompasses accounting for performance arts, focusing on accuracy and collaboration. You'll handle tasks related to accounts receivable and payable, assist in budget preparations, and support audits, contributing significantly to the institution's financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute monthly reconciliations for key financial accounts

• Analyze data from Spektrix and Microsoft systems

• Record and reconcile transaction details for events

• Ensure compliance with e-commerce sales tax regulations

• Participate in the preparation of financial reports

Requirements:

• Education in Accounting or a related field

• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience

• In process of obtaining accounting certification

• Exceptional attention to detail and initiative

• Advanced Excel proficiency required
