About Our Client
Our client is a growing and collaborative organization seeking an Invoicing & Accounts Receivable specialist to join their team. This role is 3 days a week in office in Toronto.
Responsibilities- Prepare, review, finalize, and submit client invoices, ensuring billing information, expenses, supporting documentation, required notes, and client-specific requirements are complete and accurate
- Review engagement letters and purchase orders to identify billing terms, rates, invoicing requirements, client instructions, and billing limits, and ensure this information is accurately maintained in the financial system
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and clients on billing matters, including invoice approvals, billing questions, invoice amendments/revisions, client inquiries, and outstanding billing requirements
- Support accounts receivable activities, including preparing AR aging reports and client statements, monitoring outstanding balances, following up with clients and AP contacts, processing client fund deposits, and performing accounting reconciliations
- Maintain accurate billing and client records and support process improvements, including Excel-based billing trackers, client invoicing/procurement portals, job codes, business central data, reconciliations, reporting, and improvements to invoicing and AR workflows
- University degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Billings
- Professional Services Industry experience required
- Intermediate Excel Skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
