Lead Payroll Operations at EQ

As a senior contributor, you will be responsible for the complete payroll cycle, emphasizing audit readiness and process improvements. Your collaboration with HR, Finance, and various stakeholders will be crucial in mitigating risks and addressing payroll complexities. Drive impactful changes as you lead change initiatives within the payroll department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage payroll for multiple legal entities

• Oversee compliance with payroll-related legislation

• Prepare CRA and provincial payroll remittances

• Conduct payroll-related reconciliations and entries

• Address and resolve payroll discrepancies effectively

Requirements:

• 7 to 10 years of payroll experience in complex environments

• Certified payroll compliance professional preferred

• Familiarity with high-volume payroll processing

• Knowledge of Canadian payroll laws and rules

• Advanced skills in payroll software, particularly Dayforce
