Position: Accounting Specialist at Marble, GTA
Step into an exciting accounting specialist role at Marble in the Greater Toronto Area. You’ll manage critical bookkeeping and reconciliations while working hybrid.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will take ownership from day one over bookkeeping and invoices across Canada and the US.

Your role not only includes month-end tasks but also aims at optimizing reporting processes and establishing robust accounting capabilities as you progress. Your contributions will directly impact month-end closings and financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end accounting functions consistently

• Execute timely general ledger entries and reconciliations

• Handle accounts receivable processes including invoicing

• Ensure on-time vendor invoice payments and coordination

• Drive improvements in company-wide reporting processes

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years in accountant or bookkeeping role

• Solid experience with full-cycle accounting

• Proficient in data entry and maintaining accurate records

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of US GAAP is a bonus
