Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a 12‑month contract to support month‑end close, financial reporting, and accounting processes. The role is fully remote, but the person must reside in Ontario or Calgary, Canada.

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting working papers for month‑end and quarter‑end close.
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and note disclosures under IFRS.
• Support external and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances.
• Assist with IFRS 9, 15, 16 and 17 reporting processes and accounting activities.
• Prepare audit schedules and support internal and external audit requests.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives, reporting enhancements, and special projects.

• CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA.
• 2–5 years of accounting or financial reporting experience.
• Knowledge of IFRS and financial statement preparation.
• Strong Excel and financial systems skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

You must currently reside within the Greater Toronto Area and be permitted to work in Canada.
