Cross Border Tax Senior Accountant

This full-time position involves overseeing U.S. and U.S.
-Canadian individual income tax returns. You'll develop strategies alongside clients, addressing compliance while exploring tax planning solutions. As a senior member of the team, your contributions will focus on enhancing service delivery and operational processes in tax-related engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare income tax returns for U.S. citizens living and working in Canada
• Lead discussions on expatriate compensation and planning
• Provide high-level expertise on individual income tax issues
• Generate technical reports and client summaries reflecting engagement findings
• Cultivate client relationships while coaching junior team members
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in commerce or business, accounting focus preferred
• CPA designation or relevant CFE progress considered
• 2-4 years of experience in tax or public accounting
• Familiarity with Canadian/U.S. tax laws and forms
• Proficient in accounting and tax software tools
