Experienced Project Accountant

Position: Experienced Project Accountant Needed
Drive financial accountability as an Experienced Project Accountant for the Ontario Line, focusing on comprehensive financial management and reporting. This full-time role is based in Don Mills.

As a Project Accountant, you will manage all aspects of financial reporting, including month-end closes and compliance checks. A Bachelor’s degree and CPA are preferred, alongside strong analytical skills and over 5 years of experience in accounting, particularly in construction.

Your role will encompass collaboration with project teams for financial insights and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting including financial audits

• Ensure timely preparation of financial reports

• Monitor and manage project expenses against budgets

• Reconcile all relevant financial accounts

• Provide analysis and support for project financials

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in related field

• CPA designation is a plus

• At least 5 years in accounting roles

• Effective use of accounting software applications

• Detail-oriented with excellent communication
