- Education:
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year - Experience:
1 year to less than 2 years Tasks - Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Post journal entries
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
- Reconcile accounts
- Review bids and negotiate costs
- Monitor financial control systems
- Maintain financial records
- Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting and internal control procedure
- Collect and analyze financial records of a business, such as financial statements, budgets, projections and sales data
- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
- Analyze financial documents and reports
- Prepare reports and audit findings
- Assist in preparing annual budgets
- Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements and administer contracts and other documents Computer and technology knowledge
