Accountant Position

We are seeking a skilled Accountant with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 3 years’ accounting experience. This role emphasizes the importance of detail-oriented work while performing account reconciliations, month-end close activities, and generating insightful financial analyses. You'll also maintain key schedules and support audits for accuracy in financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and profit analyses

• Reconcile daily bank and credit card transactions

• Assist with month-end close for accurate reporting

• Analyze financial statements and provide insights

• Maintain documentation for internal and external audits

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting principles

• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel

• Effective communication and analytical skills
