The Junior Associate Director will play a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of fund administration services to private market clients, with a particular focus on private equity structures. In addition to maintaining accurate books and records and preparing financial and investor reporting, this role assumes supervisory responsibilities by reviewing the work of associate-level staff and providing mentorship to ensure quality and consistency.

The Junior Associate Director supports all accounting and operational aspects of clients serviced through the Investran platform and acts as a primary point of contact for clients, auditors, and internal teams, ensuring high-quality service delivery and strict adherence to deadlines.

  • · Oversee preparation and maintenance of general ledgers and supporting schedules for assigned private equity funds utilizing Investran,providing leadership and guidance to associates.
  • · Lead the quarterly and annual financial statement process in compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP, ASPE),ensuring accuracy through review and mentorship.
  • · Guide the processing of capital activity calculations and notices, including capital calls and distributions, and support team members in managing complex transactions.
  • · Direct NAV calculations, investor-level reporting, and management and carried interest computations, with responsibility for final review and team coordination.
  • · Coordinate property-level data, valuations, and performance metrics for consolidation at the Fund level, fostering collaboration and high standards among staff.
  • · Supervise reconciliation of bank accounts, intercompany balances, and investment transactions, supporting timely and accurate resolution of discrepancies.
  • · Take a leadership role in annual audit and tax processes by working with auditors, tax advisors, and clients, and managing contributions fromthe team.
  • · Champion process improvement and system enhancements within Investran and related tools, encouraging innovation and participation from all associates.
  • · Mentor and develop both junior and senior associates, ensuring quality, consistency, and professional growth across the team.
  • · Maintain strong communication with clients and internal stakeholders, delivering timely reporting and effective issue resolution while fostering acollaborative environment.
  • · University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • · Professional accounting designation (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred or in progress
  • · 4-6 years' experience working in the fund administration industry or audit
  • · Strong understanding of private equity structures
  • · Proficient with Investran or other accounting software
  • · Experience reviewing the work of other accountants and supporting junior team member
