Hands-On Cost Accountant at Cyclic Materials

Cyclic Materials invites applications for a hands-on Cost Accountant tasked with enhancing financial operations in our US and Canadian plants. This role emphasizes direct engagement with production processes to optimize cost management.

As a key member of our finance team, you will focus on maintaining the standard cost system while preparing crucial variance reports. Key Responsibilities:

• Sustain and advance the standard cost system for operational efficiency

• Prepare detailed monthly production variance reports

• Lead month-end closing and journal entries accurately

• Conduct inventory reconciliations and explore discrepancies

• Carry out profitability assessments for business decisions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field; CMA desired

• 4-5 years of relevant accounting experience in manufacturing

• Comprehensive understanding of standard costing techniques

• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics – Business Central preferred

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
