As a Senior Accountant at VAPC, you will engage in comprehensive tax preparation and review, ensuring accuracy in both Canadian and U.S. returns. This position also involves mentoring junior staff and conducting tax research, allowing you to significantly impact the firm and its clients in a collaborative workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review personal income tax returns (T1)
• Ensure accurate compilation engagements (NTR)
• Conduct U.S. corporate tax return preparations
• Assist in CRA reviews and audits
• Mentor and guide less experienced staff
Requirements:
• 5 years of tax and accounting experience
• Essential U.S. tax knowledge
• Competence in accounting software including CCH Axcess
• Strong organizational capabilities
• Progress toward CPA designation
Utilize your skills to contribute to VAPC's mission in delivering tax solutions in Etobicoke.
