Position: Property Accountant with CAPREIT

You will be integral in the preparation and maintenance of accounting records, budget analysis, and reconciliation processes. Your work will ensure accurate financial reporting and support our operational objectives. Collaborate with a dedicated team and contribute to special accounting projects as directed by the Accounting Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present monthly financial statements

• Conduct journal entries with necessary documentation

• Perform account and rent roll reconciliations

• Assist with the preparation of the annual operating budget

• Maintain comprehensive accounting working papers

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Accounting or Business

• Current pursuit of CPA Designation (Pre-approved program)

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial statement analysis

• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks
