This role is ideally suited to a senior leader who combines technical excellence with business acumen, credibility at the executive and board level, and a passion for building trusted, long‑term client relationships.
As a Partner with Doane Grant Thornton, you have an opportunity to play a central role in influencing the strategy, originating new work, expanding market presence and priority service offerings, and collaborating across service lines to deliver integrated client value.
Key Requirements Education- Completion of a Bachelor’s or advanced level degree (Masters) and professional accounting designation (CPA)
- Completion of a specialist designation program such as Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist among others
- 10+ years of relevant experience in a professional services environment, with demonstrated leadership in conducting financial investigations, forensic accounting, litigation support, fraud-related dispute resolution, and AML related engagements
- Established experience providing expert testimony across courts and other forums
- Proven success growing a practice through relationship development, market insight, and actively anticipating client and market needs
- Proven ability to lead complex client engagements at both local and national levels
- Strong people leader with experience developing advisory teams, coaching talent, and collaborating closely with clients and colleagues, and maintains a high standard to quality, excellence, and continuous professional development
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust with clients and colleagues at all levels and influence decision-makers
- Desire to learn and grow, and be an integral part of a team that puts “we before me”, where agility is a mindset, and where you trust your colleagues to have your back
