This role involves working closely with the Taxation department to manage tax functions for Great-West Inc. and its Canadian subsidiaries. With 2-4 years of experience in taxation/accounting, you will prepare quarterly tax provisions, budgets, and filings. Strong analytical and organizational capabilities are crucial for analyzing tax issues and guiding staff development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review quarterly and year-end income tax provisions

• Analyze budgeting for Canadian tax obligations

• Manage annual tax returns and related documentation

• Investigate and document tax considerations for transactions

• Assist in conducting CRA audits and training sessions

Requirements:

• University degree in a relevant business field

• Enrollment or completion of professional accounting designation

• 2-4 years of taxation/accounting experience

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP or Longview Tax is beneficial
