** GTA Audit Practice
** is looking for a
** Senior Accountant
** to join the team, with flexibility to work from either of our two offices:
Toronto or Oakville. This is an
** existing vacancy
** where you will own the following responsibilities:
* Lead and conduct audit and review engagements, preparing working papers and financial statements in accordance with regulatory and firm standards.
* Coordinate year-end assurance engagements for clients across a range of industries, including supporting information for corporate tax filings (prepared by the tax team).
* Apply working knowledge of accounting frameworks such as ASPE, ASNPO, IFRS, and US GAAP, as appropriate to client needs.
* Build and maintain positive client relationships by responding promptly to requests and delivering high-quality service.
* Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities to expand services with existing clients.
* Communicate regularly with engagement team members to provide progress updates and raise issues proactively.

** Your experience and education
*** You have completed your CPA designation or are in the process of completion.
* You have 2-3 years of audit experience in the public accounting industry.
* You enjoy working with high growth and dynamic private enterprises and have experience in relation to ASPE files
* You are keen to develop further knowledge about the business, assurance and regulatory requirements of private businesses.
* You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
* You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.

The expected range of compensation for this role is $62,000 - $96,000 annually.
