Position: MLSE Inventory Accountant Role

In this key finance role, you will support the accounting functions within MLSE's Retail and Merchandise sector, emphasizing inventory management, cost analysis, and financial reconciliation. Collaborating with multiple teams such as Procurement and FP&A, you’ll cultivate an understanding of critical business drivers and assist with strategic financial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly reporting

• Analyze financial results to identify trends and variances

• Review inventory transactions to ensure completeness

• Partner with cross-functional teams for financial accuracy

• Strengthen internal controls and processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 3+ years of related accounting experience

• CPA designation preferred or in progress

• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
