Our client seeks a talented Accounting Manager with over 6 years of experience to oversee key financial operations. You will be responsible for the month-end closing, prepare comprehensive financial statements, and supervise an accounting team. Experience in the construction sector will be advantageous due to specific accounting methods required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end close ensuring accuracy and timeliness

• Prepare and analyze financial statements periodically

• Monitor profitability and job costing processes

• Maintain accounting policies, compliance, and internal controls

• Manage external audits and financial regulatory reporting

Requirements:

• At least 6 years of accounting experience required

• Preferably from the construction industry with relevant knowledge

• CPA certification is a plus, not mandatory

• Familiarity with budgeting and cash flow management is desirable

• Must live in Scarborough and allowed to work in Canada
