Education

Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

Minimum 1 year of public accounting experience

• accounting: 1 year (preferred)

English and Cantonese/Mandarin

Windows, Excel, Accounting software, Sage, Quick Books, Quick Books Online

• Maintain accurate general ledgers and prepare financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
• Record and post journal entries, prepare trial balances, and perform account reconciliations.
• Process payroll, including calculating wages and preparing payroll payments.
• Prepare and file corporate and personal income tax returns.
• Communicate effectively with clients to obtain accounting records, financial information, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting procedures as required.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrated professionalism, accountability, and integrity.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

$50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
