Fund Accounting Manager

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Company Overview:

A global investment company is searching for a Fund Accounting Manager to join their team.

Core Responsibilities:

As Fund Accounting Manager, you will:

• Lead day-to-day fund accounting operations for private equity clients.
• Manage, mentor and develop a team of Fund Accountants.
• Oversee the NAV process, including investor allocations, fees, waterfalls, capital activity and distributions.
• Liaise with clients, auditors, banks, brokers and custodians to resolve issues and meet deadlines.
• Ensure AML, regulatory, compliance and internal control requirements are met.
• Review fund financials, investor reporting and audit deliverables.
• Manage team workloads and ensure service levels and deadlines are achieved.
• Establish procedures and controls tailored to individual funds and clients.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, technology and reporting.
• Support new initiatives, projects and office growth.

Qualifications:

• Accounting Degree
• CPA Designation (advantageous)
• 8+ years of experience in a similar position
• Private Equity Fund experience is key
