Position: Senior Accountant for Non-Profit Team
Join a prominent North York non-profit as a Senior Accountant on a 6-month contract, with excellent chances of transition to permanent employment. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals passionate about meaningful work.

The Senior Accountant will be a vital part of the finance team, managing full-cycle accounting and supporting financial reporting efforts. Your expertise will contribute to the accuracy of monthly close activities and improve systems, enhancing the organization's overall mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle complete accounting functions and journal entries

• Assist with financial reporting and analytics

• Maintain accuracy in month-end closing processes

• Drive process enhancements within the finance department

• Work closely with the Director of Finance

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of hands-on accounting experience

• Proficient in journal entries and month-end closing

• CPA qualification is advantageous, not essential

• Experience in a non-profit environment is a plus

• Must be available for immediate employment
