Interim Senior Accountant

Lead accounting operations at a global metals firm as an Interim Senior Accountant in Toronto. This contract role requires in-office work three days per week to drive essential financial tasks.

Our client, a publicly listed metals and manufacturing company, seeks an experienced Interim Senior Accountant for a six-month assignment. You will manage daily accounting activities, assist in period-end reviews, and support audits and reporting. This role also involves participation in a key integration project implementing SAP S4 HANA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations

• Perform period-end reviews efficiently

• Support audits and financial reporting

• Contribute to SAP S4 HANA integration project

• Facilitate accounting for new legal entities

Requirements:

• CPA with extensive SAP experience

• Deep knowledge of FICO and MM modules

• Proven experience in mining and metals industries

• Strong communication skills essential

• Available to work in-office three days per week
