Payroll Technician

Position: Payroll Technician at M3 Financial Group
Enhance your accounting career as a Payroll Technician with M3 Financial Group, working in a hybrid model to support broker transactions. Process payments, manage invoicing and collaborate with diverse teams every day.

In this role, reporting to the Manager of Financial Compliance and Treasury, you will handle invoicing, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and commission payments. Your expertise in financial data accuracy will drive transactions for over 8,500 independent brokers. Strong mathematical and Microsoft Excel skills are key to performing your responsibilities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare invoices and track accounts receivable

• Record cash receipts and manage deposits accurately

• Process commission payments for broker transactions

• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

• Collaborate with teams for transaction accuracy and tracking

Requirements:

• Minimum three years of accounting experience

• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

• Tech-savvy and quick learner of new systems

• Bilingual in French and English is an asset
