Accounts Payable Clerk

Use accounting expertise and Microsoft Excel in a hybrid Accounts Payable Clerk position with Toronto Community Housing Corporation in Toronto. Monday to Friday, 35 hours weekly.

This full-time temporary position sits within Finance’s Accounts Payable Unit and reports to the Accounts Payable Manager. The work includes supplier invoices, vendor accounts, tenant payments, journal entries, reconciliations, and administrative support. The contract runs until June 2028.

• Process supplier invoices and maintain vendor accounts
• Input tenant payments and issue tenant refunds
• Prepare journal entries, invoices, and accruals
• Reconcile sub-ledger entries with the general ledger
• Manage petty cash records and respond to enquiries

• Minimum three years of intermediate accounting experience
• Accounting courses considered an asset
• Extensive Microsoft Excel and Access knowledge
• Accurate calculations and working knowledge of accounting procedures
• Ability to prioritize heavy workloads and meet deadlines
