Support accounts payable for major infrastructure projects as an Accounts Payable Coordinator in Toronto, using Excel and ERP systems. Process invoices accurately and support timely payments.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this coordinator supports financial administration across construction, transit, civil engineering, and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include vendor invoice processing, project cost controls, payment records, and compliance with contract requirements. JD Edwards familiarity is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and process vendor and subcontractor invoices
- Match invoices with purchase orders and approvals
- Prepare payment batches and support EFT and cheque runs
- Reconcile supplier statements and investigate outstanding balances
- Maintain records supporting project audits and compliance
- Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration diploma or degree
- One to two years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with ERP systems; JD Edwards is an asset
- Understanding of purchase orders and payment processes
