Vendor Accounts Payable Associate

Support vendor payments and account reconciliations as a YORK1 Accounts Payable Associate, working with internal departments and finance teams.

This position handles daily accounts payable duties while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company procedures. You will communicate with vendors, resolve payment concerns, and collaborate internally on invoice-related matters. The role also contributes to month-end close and audit activities.

• Respond promptly and professionally to vendor inquiries
• Resolve payment discrepancies and invoice-related matters
• Reconcile vendor statements and accounts accurately
• Collaborate with internal departments on payment issues
• Assist with month-end close and audit activities

• Post-secondary education or equivalent accounting experience
• Minimum three years of Accounts Payable experience
• ERP systems experience;
  Jonas experience is an asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
