Gain hands-on Treasury Accounting and Tax exposure at MLSE through reconciliations, filings, transaction support, and monthly financial calculations. Weekday availability is required.
This Finance Intern contributes to MLSE’s finance cycles across accounting, treasury, tax, forecasting, and strategic planning. You will assist with cash transactions, reconciliations, tax filings, payment processing, and special projects. The position also supports accurate information for operational and governance reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Enter cash transactions and complete account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly calculations for key financial accounts
- Assist with various tax filings
- Process payment vouchers for ticketing administration
- Coordinate responses to external auditor requests
- Current post-secondary studies in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
- Knowledge of balance sheets and profit-and-loss statements
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities
- High attention to detail and analytical judgment
- Availability during normal weekday business hours
Strengthen treasury, tax, accounting, Excel, and reconciliation capabilities while supporting MLSE’s finance cycles and reporting.
