Own finance operations and accounting foundations remotely from Canada, using Quick Books, spreadsheets, and sound judgment across a growing AI-driven business.
This Business Operations Generalist, Finance & Accounting role works directly with senior leadership. You will manage invoices, reconciliations, month-end close, tax coordination, contracts, procurement, and corporate administration. The position suits someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and hands-on problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:- Review invoices, vendor documentation, approvals, and scheduled payments
- Coordinate month-end close with external accountants
- Manage tax filings, registrations, notices, and reporting
- Maintain Stripe, Subscript, Hubifi, and Quick Books platforms
- Document processes and identify automation opportunities
- Experience in accounting, finance operations, or business operations
- Understanding of invoices, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Strong spreadsheet skills and financial accuracy
- Familiarity with Quick Books, Stripe, Brex, Carta, or comparable tools
- Discretion with confidential financial, employee, and corporate information
