Dental Floating​/Reception

Overview

Our client is seeking a friendly, reliable and responsible Dental Floater/Reception to join their dental practice located at Avenue/Lawrence. The position involves floating and reception duties, and may include some assisting.

• Tracker (experience preferred; training available if needed)

Avenue/Lawrence

• Full-time or part-time; flexible hours 8-5 or 8-6
• Alternate Saturday 8-3

• $25.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on experience and performance

• Greet patients in a warm and welcoming manner
• Create a positive first impression and foster long-term patient relationships
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments by telephone and in person
• Send appointment confirmations via email and telephone; make follow-up calls/emails
• Provide patients with information about the dental office and direct calls appropriately
• Verify procedures, collect payments, and submit insurance claims electronically
• Receive and distribute mail, enter and scan payments and referral documents
• Maintain patient charts and records accurately
• Monitor supplies and order as needed
• Coordinate with couriers and labs
• Ensure reception area and waiting room are clean and tidy

• Dynamic, energetic, and professional personality
• Highly organized, quick learner with analytical thinking and teamwork
• Excellent command of the English language (oral and written)
• Ability to multitask, be self-motivated, and work independently
• Ability to process high volumes of work quickly, efficiently and accurately
