Position: Internship Opportunity in Mailroom Operations
METRO is seeking a Mailroom Intern in Ontario to assist in mail operations and support the Mail and Printing team. Contribute to shipping, sorting, and managing mail efficiently during staff absences.

This temporary full-time intern position within the Finance and Accounting division offers an excellent learning environment. Responsibilities include coordinating mail logistics, processing coupons, and tracking packages to ensure timely deliveries. Strong communication and organizational skills are vital, along with the ability to perform physical tasks necessary for managing mail distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and sort all mail for stores and personnel

• Maintain and prepare mail bags for shipping

• Sort and record vendor and VIP coupon amounts

• Manage outgoing shipments and package tracking

• Assist in organizing various binders and materials

Requirements:

• University/College education in Business Administration preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Competency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel

• Required to stand for extended periods

• Must be able to lift 20 kg boxes
