Position: Workplace Experience Receptionist

About The Role

As a CBRE Workplace Experience Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and employees, delivering a welcoming and professional workplace experience. You’ll manage front‑desk operations, including greeting guests, handling calls, scheduling meeting spaces, coordinating vendors and deliveries, and assisting with workplace events.

What You’ll Do
  • Receive and direct incoming calls to appropriate personnel and voicemail.
  • Greet clients, applicants, and visitors upon arrival; issue visitor passes and parking validations; follow security protocols.
  • Help organize and manage on‑site events, including securing event space, setting up and tearing down rooms, and delivering supplies.
  • Coordinate with vendors who supply services or goods to the workplace.
  • Schedule and prepare meeting and conference rooms – room set‑up, placing catering orders, and securing technological equipment; request building and housekeeping services as needed.
  • Perform general clerical duties such as distributing office faxes and packages and ordering office supplies.
  • Track incoming and outgoing packages, mail, and freight; arrange messenger service and hospitality services for guests (transportation, tickets, reservations, etc.).
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while exercising limited discretion.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
What You’ll Need
  • High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job‑related experience.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
  • Strong communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Basic math skills – ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this Receptionist position is $48,000 – $52,500 annually. This role provides a comprehensive benefits package, including Group Retirement Program, Medical, Dental and Vision coverage, Life Insurance, and more.
