The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health seeks a full-time Clerk for the Women’s Secure Forensic Unit. This temporary role focuses on administrative and client-facing responsibilities.
Reporting to the Unit Manager at 1001 Queen Street West, this six-month position provides critical clerical support for unit operations. You'll assist with database updates, direct client interactions, and liaising with other CAMH departments. Your organizational skills will help maintain efficient workflow and document management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure smooth unit operation through clerical support
• Update and manage client databases and track census
• Facilitate meetings and prepare required documents
• Coordinate with internal departments for seamless services
• Communicate with clients in person and by phone
Requirements:
• Secondary School diploma plus six months relevant experience
• Proficient in computer applications including Excel
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
• Knowledge of privacy legislation
• Capable of working both independently and in a team
