Position: Oncology Unit Coordinator Role
Join the Odette Cancer Centre as an Oncology Unit Coordinator, providing vital administrative support in outpatient cancer clinics. This role includes managing electronic orders and patient schedules to ensure smooth clinic operations.

In this critical position, you will work within the healthcare team to coordinate appointments, screenings, and tests required by oncologists.

Your role will involve data entry, preparing patient charts, and providing administrative relief in various clinic activities. You’ll need strong customer service skills and a compassionate approach to work effectively with patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage electronic physician orders and appointment schedules

• Screen new and follow-up patients for clinic visits

• Prepare patient charts and respond to inquiries

• Handle supply orders and maintain clinic organization

• Offer relief coverage across departments as required

Requirements:

• Completion of one year of Community College

• Administrative experience in a healthcare setting preferred

• Keyboarding proficiency of 40 words per minute

• Familiarity with MS Office and patient software tools

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
