Key Administrator – Pearson Airport - Toronto
We are currently seeking a Part-Time Key Administrator to support our Valet Operations at Toronto Pearson International Airport. As a Key Administrator, you will play a central role in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and secure valet process. You will be responsible for managing vehicle keys, maintaining accurate records, and supporting both customers and the valet team. This position is essential to delivering excellent service and maintaining operational flow.
WhatWould You Be Doing?
- Receive, label, and organize vehicle keys and corresponding tickets for valet and car care services
- Enter vehicle information accurately into internal systems and maintain up-to-date tracking reports
- Monitor and track vehicle movements to ensure full accountability
- Retrieve keys promptly for outgoing vehicles and coordinate with Valet Attendants
- Communicate operational updates with the team in person and over radio
- Answer client phone calls and provide accurate, timely information
- Assist with vehicle relocation during peak or coverage periods (as needed)
- Maintain the key room in orderly, secure condition
- Moving vehicles in and out of the wash bay (must be comfortable driving different sizes of vehicles within G license requirements)
- Ensure washed vehicles are prepared and ready for client inspection and meet expected quality standards
- Assist client (GTAA) in the inspection process of washed vehicles, in accordance with Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements
- Inspect washed vehicles completed by detailers to ensure quality standards are met
- Take and maintain photo documentation of vehicles before and after wash service
- Arrange and prepare vehicle keys for scheduled car wash operations
- Update operational systems after each completed wash for accurate tracking
- Other administrative or operational duties as assigned
Hourly Salary: $18.40
Primarily indoors in a small office environment within the parking structure
Must be able to work independently for long periods of time
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and light lifting (up to 20 lbs.)
Afternoon, evening, and weekend availability is required
Fast-paced, multitasking environment where accuracy is essential
What Are We Looking For?- Highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented individual
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and Word; able to learn new systems quickly
- Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Previous experience in customer service, administration, or logistics (2+ years preferred)
- Experience in a fast-paced environment such as hospitality, airports, or parking operations
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
- Ability to adapt quickly during busy periods or operational changes
