Summary:

The Legal and Leasing Coordinator will be a highly detail-orientated individual who desires an opportunity to be a part of a vibrant, fast paced, work environment with a high attention to detail. Reporting to the Manager of Legal and Leasing Operations, this individual will be required to collaborate with a variety of departments in a professional manner.

Responsibilities:

Provide general administrative support to the legal and leasing departments, including:

  • Coordinating tenant credit checks with third-party providers and internal contacts
  • Compiling data to assist with monthly reports
  • Assembling completed deal packages (offer, lease, approvals) for processing
  • Track critical lease dates – commencement, expiry, renewal options and notice deadlines
  • Supporting insurance renewal processes
  • Helping process and track invoices to ensure timely payment
  • Ensuring all trackers reflect current information
  • Assisting the team in following up for outstanding items
  • Maintaining organized digital files with consistent naming conventions
  • Performing other duties, as assigned

Competencies:

  • A positive attitude and willingness to take initiative
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable asking questions and learning new processes on the job

Salary range based on experience: $50,000-$60,000
