In this crucial role at Torys, your expertise in legal administration will support the smooth operation of lawyers' practices. Responsibilities include handling client correspondence, managing files, and overseeing billing tasks. Your organizational skills and client service focus will ensure attorneys can effectively communicate and meet their clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and manage client communications and documents
• Track client billing and manage outstanding Work In Progress
• Organize and maintain client files and correspondence
• Coordinate travel and meeting arrangements for principals
• Engage in business development by compiling documents for proposals
Requirements:
• Completion of a Legal Assistant diploma or related degree
• Over 5 years of experience in a legal environment preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication capabilities
• Detail-oriented with effective multitasking skills
• Experience with legal documentation and MS Office
