Position: Full-Time Medical Imaging Booking Clerk
Advance your career at North York General Hospital as a full-time Booking Clerk in the Medical Imaging department, where patient care and scheduling take center stage. Engage with patients and colleagues to facilitate care.

In this temporary role, you'll be responsible for booking patient appointments and collecting vital information for medical imaging. You will manage phone inquiries, prepare patient reports, and assist with scheduling using Cerner software. Communication skills are crucial as you work in a busy environment that prioritizes the health and safety of all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Book and track patient appointments accurately

• Direct patients with preparation instructions for imaging

• Handle multiple phone lines and inquiries efficiently

• Update patient records and manage documentation

• Courteously greet patients and process registrations

Requirements:

• At least one year of experience in an office role

• Proficiency in Cerner scheduling and registration

• Bilingualism in French and English is a plus

• Strong data entry skills (40 w.p.m. minimum)

• Familiarity with medical terminology
