• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in the automotive industry.
• Registration with the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
• Possession of a valid Ontario 310S license.
• A valid Ontario G driver's license.
• A clean Driver's Abstract.
• Previous experience at Kia/Hyundai is a valuable asset, though not mandatory.
• EV certification with Kia is a valuable asset, though not mandatory.

• Perform maintenance and repairs on Kia vehicles as well as other makes.
• Efficiently and accurately execute tasks outlined in repair orders.
• Provide recommendations for services that enhance vehicle performance and ensure safety.
• Utilize appropriate tools and test equipment while promptly reporting any equipment issues.
• Uphold a consistently clean and organized shop setting.
• Strictly adhere to safety regulations within the shop.
• Pursue necessary education and training to become a registered Kia EV technician.
• Enroll in and complete Kia University Technical Training courses as required.
• Fulfill other tasks assigned by management as needed.
