Optical Factory Maintenance and production Technician OVERNIGHT

Inc. is a privately held, Canadian corporation that manufactures, imports and distributes eye care products. All product sales are made directly to industry professionals across Canada such as opticians, optometrists, ophthalmologists and M.D.’s. Some of the products provided by Optik K&R are contact lenses, eyeglass (ophthalmic) lenses, frames and accessories.

You will assist the lens SURFACING team during the overnight period. Precise start and end times are flexible and negotiable. Typical shift is from 10:30 pm to 7:00 am.

Primarily you will be required to:

• Lens surface generation (single point diamond turning SPDT, polishing, Laser marking, de‑blocking)
• Maintenance and calibration

• English communication skills both verbal and written.
• Mechanical aptitude or experience working with machines.
• Mechanical maintenance and repair.

High School – Required.

Some engineering or Mechanical Maintenance training.

Full‑time, Permanent.

$24.00 – $46.00 per hour.
