THE ROLE:
We are seeking a licensed 310S Automotive Service Technician to join our fleet service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a diverse fleet of light-duty vehicles to ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance. This role focuses on preventative maintenance, efficient repairs, and minimizing vehicle downtime.
This position will report to our Shop Foreman.
WORKING HOURS:This is a full-time permanent position.
The working hours will be Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and scheduled Saturdays as needed from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles (cars, vans, light trucks)
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems using computerized diagnostic tools (Atell, Snap-On)
- Repair or replace engines, transmissions, drive trains, suspension, steering, braking, and exhaust systems
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure vehicles meet provincial and company standards
- Identify and report potential issues to reduce breakdowns and extend vehicle life
- Complete work orders accurately and document repairs and parts used
- Collaborate with Service Advisors and team members to prioritize repairs and meet service timelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Adhere to company policies, health & safety regulations, and environmental standards

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a licensed automotive technician (fleet experience preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency with scan tools and electronic diagnostic equipment
- Valid Class G Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Has own tools
- Basic proficiency with use of computers
- Effective communications skills
- Punctual, Reliable & Team player
This position will pay an hourly rate of: $ 32.00 to $ 38.00
- depending on experience.
