The opportunity

The Associate Director, Strategy & Operations for Financial Services (FS) is a strategic leader responsible for supporting the execution of the FS industry Group. go-to-market plan. This role is pivotal in advancing revenue growth, pipeline integrity, and business development budget, with a strong emphasis on data literacy and analytics to inform decision-making and strategy.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, and integrating seamlessly with the financial services leadership team, the Associate Director acts as a connector and catalyst—rallying cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration across BMC and other business units, and promoting a culture of excellence and innovation. The role requires executive presence, the ability to anticipate business and leadership needs, and a commitment to supporting the FS team in a dynamic, high-pressure environment with tight timelines.

The role requires bringing the best to the team to contribute to more efficient operations, strategic decisions and ensuring optimal outcomes through leveraging connections in Canada and with the Global Industry community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate and drive annual strategic planning for FS, engaging stakeholders across service lines, finance, Alliances, accounts, business development, and CBS to develop and execute growth priorities.
  • Project manage strategic growth initiatives, ensuring efficient execution and measurable impact.
  • Champion data-driven decision-making, leveraging advanced analytics and reporting to enable leadership insight and action.
  • Foster cross-team collaboration, to maximize synergies, share best practices, and drive integrated solutions.
  • Promote a client-centric approach, supporting account management and client experience programs.
  • Serve as a primary connector within FS, fielding inquiries and driving engagement across teams and functions.
  • Elevate organizational efficiency, streamlining processes and reporting, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate executive presence in all interactions, representing FS with professionalism and strategic vision.
  • Anticipate business and leadership needs, proactively identifying opportunities and risks.
  • Support CBS and broader team initiatives, contributing to a culture of support and shared success.
  • Leverage leading firm technologies and solutions to improve the overall health of the business, focusing on critical areas to reach the Industry & Firm’s ambition
