As a Qualitative Project Coordinator
, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that our qualitative research projects, such as in‑depth interviews (IDIs), focus groups, and online discussion boards, run smoothly from start to finish. You’ll coordinate participants, schedules, and logistics, ensuring everything is organized and ready for execution.
This role is ideal for someone who’s highly organized, detail-oriented, and interested in learning the inner workings of qualitative research.
As a Qualitative Project Coordinator at Angus Reid Group, you will- Assist internal teams to confirm recruitment criteria, sample sources, timelines, and session logistics for qualitative research projects.
- Help review screeners for clarity and logic, flag issues to our research team.
- Program screeners and QA for accuracy.
- Track participant quotas, maintain recruitment grids, and update internal project trackers.
- Support qualitative project logistics, including scheduling participants, sending reminders, and managing reschedules or cancellations.
- Provide day‑of‑session support for online or in‑person sessions (e.g., focus groups, interviews, ODBs).
- Learn a variety of qualitative research platforms, developing a strong understanding of how each platform operates and becoming proficient in their features and capabilities over time.
- Work closely with incentives team to ensure participants are properly rewarded.
- Liaise with third‑party recruiters, moderators, and platforms as needed.
- Maintain a high standard of participant experience, communication, and data accuracy across all projects.
- Communicate with participants in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
- Support other operational tasks across research projects as required.
- 1‑2 years of experience in research coordination, participant management, or research operations.
- Familiarity with qualitative research methods such as IDIs, focus groups, and online discussion boards.
- Familiarity supporting screener reviews, managing recruitment sources, and tracking quota fulfillment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and participant‑friendly approach.
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Calendly, Zoom, and familiarity with platforms like Recollective or similar.
- Attention to detail when managing participant logistics, scheduling, and session readiness.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners (e.g., project managers, programmers, research consultants’, recruiters, platform providers, vendors, etc.).
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. A self‑starter who doesn’t wait to be told what to do; you take initiative, stay curious, and bring ideas to the table to help move projects forward.
- Flexible and proactive, with a willingness to support a range of research initiatives beyond qualitative when needed.
